“While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light.” (John 12:36)
Scripture is full of invitations to awaken to light:
“Awake, awake; put on strength…” (Isaiah 51:9)
“If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark…” (Luke 11:36)
“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.” (Ephesians 5:8)
All colors are energy. Darkness vibrates low; light vibrates high.
Visualizing ourselves on a spectrum of light and dark helps us gently gauge where we stand and how to move forward.
We’re not either/or—black or white, good or evil.
We’re shades of grey, ever-changing, progressing day by day.
It’s easy to assume we’re “in the light” because we go to church, avoid major sins, or do good things.
But not being in darkness doesn’t automatically make us full of light.
Saying “I don’t want black” doesn’t mean we’ve chosen white.
That exclusive thinking can breed pride, halt growth, and keep us comfortable in mediocrity.
The truth is kinder: We’re all on a continuum—becoming more like God, little by little.
Each day, our choices add light or allow shadows.
The direction we move depends on our thoughts and beliefs.
Enlightened beliefs draw in more light; limiting ones dim it.
Look honestly at your life’s fruits:
Ongoing drama, fear, disease, disconnection → still holding darkness.
Peace, health, harmony, gratitude, clear guidance → more light flowing.
Do you feel you have great faith and hope… yet things still aren’t flowing?
That inner conflict often means we’re holding light with one hand and fear/darkness with the other.
We can’t serve two masters.
Energy Balancing with Faith helps us gently release subconscious shadows and refine ourselves—replacing darkness with light, fear with faith.
Here are some oils that can help you adopt more light (inhale, apply over heart, or diffuse while affirming):
Frankincense: Deepens spiritual connection and invites divine light.
Elevation: Uplifts mood, raises vibration, and inspires hope.
Melissa: Gently nurtures self-compassion and emotional clarity.
We don’t have to be perfectly bright today.
If we were, we’d already be walking on water and returning home.
But we can choose more light each day—intentionally, faithfully, lovingly.
You are not stuck in grey forever.
Every small shift—releasing a limiting belief, choosing gratitude, trusting God—moves you lighter, brighter.
Partner with Him.
Let His light fill every corner.
Soon you’ll see obstacles become lessons, trials become growth, and life become a joyful unfolding.
You were born to shine.
Choose light today. Shine it on the world.
